JUDGES - THE COMPETITION 

Live to Dance Judges are professionals in the dance community and experienced educators. In order to give the dancers positive and clear feedback we choose Judges that will lift the spirits of all participants and make them feel like they are the amazing dancers they are!  

Judges reserve the right to change the entry to reflect a different discipline if they feel that an entry has been incorrectly entered and the dance will still be eligible for scholarships and awards.  

All Judges decisions are final. 

SCORING – THE COMPETITION 

We value supporting dancers on their dance journey and as such, no medal standings are given.  Instead, specific awards based on their performance are handed out to every dance/dancer. 

SCHOLARSHIPS & CASH AWARDS - THE COMPETITION 

We have an amazing array of scholarships to dance conventions, professional dance schools, summer schools, as well; cash awards are given out at each event.  These are NOT based on marks, rather awarded at the Judge's discretion.  We feel this encompasses a variety of dancers/dances, not just the highest scoring performances.  We believe in giving back to the dance community and supporting dancers in ways to continue furthering their dance training through these awards. 

Top choreography award will be handed out at each event.    

Over $5000 of scholarships and awards given out in 2023. 

SUPPORTING FUTURE DANCERS' STUDIO AWARD – THE COMPETITION  

Will be handed out to each participating studio at the end of the competition based on the total of all entries.
